Tiếng nhạc dứt cũng là lúc cô gái vừa ăn kẹo vừa hát nghẹn ngào nói: “Ngày xưa em ghét bài hát này lắm tại vì mỗi lần bật bài này lên thì mẹ sẽ khóc. Em rất sợ ca khúc này vì nó làm cho mình nhớ lại hình ảnh mẹ ngồi khóc 1 mình trong đêm không dám để con nhìn thấy vì sợ con buồn. Nhưng thời gian trôi đi thì mọi vết thương cũng sẽ lành và mẹ Phượng Vũ cũng vẫn ở vậy 1 mình nuôi con. Khi lớn lên rồi em đã hiểu được nỗi đau nào cũng trôi qua và tốt nhất mình nên đối diện với nỗi đau ấy để trở nên mạnh mẽ hơn. Cho nên em nghe bài hát này nhiều hơn và thấu hiểu được nỗi buồn của mẹ”.

Sau khi lắng nghe lời bộc bạch từ đáy lòng đó, Nguyên Khang vội mời mẹ Phượng Vũ lên sân khấu. Đứng cạnh con gái, cô thật thà chia sẻ Phượng Vũ chính là động lực giúp cô sống đến ngày hôm nay.
