Hội đồng quản trị Ngân hàng TMCP Xuất Nhập Khẩu (Eximbank – EIB) vừa ban hành Nghị quyết về việc hoãn tổ chức đại hội cổ đông thường niên năm 2020 được triệu tập lần thứ 3 tại Hà Nội nhằm chấp hành chỉ đạo của UBND TP Hà Nội về việc thực hiện nghiêm các giải pháp tăng cường công tác phòng chống dịch Covid-19.

Trước đó đại hội cổ đông thường niên 2020 của ngân hàng này phải trì hoãn 2 lần (lần 1 vào ngày 30/6 và lần 2 vào ngày 29/7) vì không đủ túc số. Theo quy định, đại hội lần 3 sẽ diễn ra mà không phụ thuộc vào tỷ lệ cổ phần có quyền biểu quyết tham dự đại hội là bao nhiêu. Vì thế, tỷ lệ cổ đông tham dự thì đại hội cũng có thể diễn ra.

Một điểm khá đặc biệt là đây lần đầu tiên Eximbank có trụ sở chính ở TP.HCM lại tổ chức ĐHCĐ ở HN. Tuy nhiên, may mắn không đến với các các cổ đông Eximbank là đại hội lần này lại phải hoãn vì lý do dịch bệnh.

Cũng vì lý do COVID-19, hồi đầu tháng 3 Eximbank đã phải hoãn đại hội ngay trước ngày khai mạc.

Ngoài ra, Eximbank đã tổ chức đại hội cổ đông bất thường năm 2019 vào ngày 30/6 vừa qua nhưng cũng không thành công vì không đủ túc số. Được biết theo quy định ngân hàng sẽ phải tổ chứ đại hội bất thường lần 2 trong vòng 1 tháng kể từ ngày đại hội lần 1 không thành nhưng cho đến nay đã quá thời hạn mà Eximbank vẫn chưa có bất cứ thông báo nào liên quan đến đại hội bất thường 2019.

Mới đây, Eximbank công bố BCTC hợp nhất quý 2/2020.Theo đó lợi nhuận trước thuế 6 tháng đầu năm đạt gần 553 tỷ đồng, giảm 28% so với cùng kỳ năm trước.

Lợi nhuận trước thuế và sau thuế quý 2/2020 của Eximbank giảm đến 77% so với cùng kỳ năm trước, chỉ còn lần lượt là hơn 94 tỷ đồng và 74 tỷ đồng.

Nguyên nhân được lãnh đạo Eximbank cho biết là do phải tăng trích lập khoản nơ xấu được khách hàng thế chấp bằng cổ phiếu Sacombank.

Tại ngày 30/6/2020, tổng tài sản của Eximbank giảm 12,1% so với đầu năm, chỉ đạt 147.315 tỷ đồng. Dư nợ cho vay khách hàng giảm 8,6% xuống 103.529 tỷ đồng. Tiền gửi của khách hàng giảm 10,6% xuống 124.566 tỷ đồng. 

Cuối tháng 6, nợ xấu nội bảng của ngân hàng là 2.157 tỷ đồng, tăng 11,6% so với đầu năm. Theo đó, tỷ lệ nợ xấu trên tổng dư nợ cho vay tăng từ 1,71% lên 2,08%.
